A 1.2 mile walk around a beautiful town. Parksley is one of only two planned communities on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Parksley has a rich historic background that is evident in the Victorian architecture found all around town. Parksley was founded in 1885 and many of the original buildings and houses still remain. The walking tour guides you through the history of these historical buildings and monuments while you enjoy the tree lined streets and the many birds chirping in the air year round. This is one of the most peaceful towns on the shore set back just far enough from Rt. 13 to be quiet and serene yet easy to access. After your health walk stroll the shops along the town square such as the farmers market and Jaxon’s 5 & 10 for a bit of extra exercise. You can also tour the railroad museum which has free admission. Exercise was never so pleasant as it is in Parksley. Be sure to pick up your free walking tour guidebook at the railway museum located in the town square at 18568 Dunne Ave. You may also access it online at www.parksley.org. Get on board!

From U.S. Route 13 turn right onto Coastal Blvd/US-13 Bus N. Enter next roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto Greenbush Rd. Greenbush Rd becomes Cassatt Ave. Follow Cassatt Ave into the Town of Parksley.
